It's all about the ball...

It is the World Cup and all is about bringing the ball into the goal at least in our house.
That inspired us to look at all things round...

But the obvious is not always the answer - even more if you have a girl!
So we gathered some ideas what else can be done in the shape of a ball in kid’s rooms.

Starting with mobiles in different designs and colours...

shape of a ball in a butterfly design...

or these lovely paper pom poms...

...maybe a pom pom garland...?
Colourful garlands fill  empty spaces in kid’s rooms nicely and bring extra colour into neutral painted rooms.

Don't forget lamps in every type of ball shape!

Bobble rugs and cushions create a childish flair in a room which is fun...

Outdoor play spaces for children

We are big fans of the outdoors.
As soon as it is nice enough weather I encourage the kids to play outside.
In one of our last posts we showed how kids can create their own lovely garden!
This week we want to show what they can do in “their” garden or what they simply could do for OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES.

Kids can be so inventive when they have natural materials - sometimes it needs some parental help but often they can just work it out for themselves.

Playing games with stones, water, wood and flowers is very simple and a 100% fun factor.

Good to know for parents: when our little ones run riot the whole day in the fresh air… it is so much easier to bring them to bed in the evening, isn't it?

Natural crafts help your kids to be creative and at the same time they can explore their Environment.

Parents and siblings can help building tents and dens and don't forget to decorate them!

It is not only fun building them - it is also a place for your munchkins to hang around instead of sitting in their rooms when it is warm outside.

What is cuter to see than happy kids playing nicely together and invent their own games?

If you have great pictures of your kids playing outside with invented natural games – please share it with all the other ella&otto readers!

The Football World Cup 2014 has started!

Having three boys in the house (excluding my husband) - the football world cup does not come unnoticed.

They may not play like football stars, but they know how to eat like one (after the game, of course)!

I thought I share the idea with you:
